No grow lights needed since it’s near my French doors. It has a water reservoir to create humidity, and I plant microgreens in a coco coir base. Not exactly hydroponic, but much less expensive than the Aero garden. I get edible microgreens in about 3-4 days. Great to put in omelets or use as a garnish.

I will admit that it looks amazing, I love how they integrated the principles of an NFT hydroponic system into making this kit. The vertical idea is absolutely brilliant because it saves so much space, while being able to grow so many plants at the same time. Plus, I was impressed by the materials used into making their Gardyn systems and the incorporation of technology. The price definitely matches how amazing these systems are. I wish them luck in reaching more amateur gardeners!

I think our products can be suitable for your demands. Any market demand?

I’ve been using hydroponic gardens to grow some of my food for almost a decade.

I reuse my plastic pod parts. You can buy the empty sponges on amazon & fill with seeds from a garden center. Much cheaper than the pods & you are recycling the plastic parts.

Hello! Just to let you know I have the aerogarden system and only 1 of my plants began growing and nothing from the other 2 until I added my own seeds to the 2 that never started and now I have thyme and another basil growing in them! Try it, just drop a few seeds straight into the same pods that already have the soil mix !

They do sell empty pods you can seed yourself. I’ve done this with Aero garden for years. On Amazon too.

You can buy replacement coir inserts. I get mine online from Park Seed. There’s a large AeroGarden FB group who share tips and stories, too.
