that’s cool bu creepy.like think about:
good: you’re related to a nursery rhyme IRL person
bad: you’re related to a deceased person who has been dead for 135 years
do you think she’s going to haunt you and your whole family and the people who are going to live in it for the next decade or so?!?!

I used to love this little poem as a kid! However, I remember a distinct version of it, and for the life of me I can’t find it anywhere!
The version of the poem, which I read in 3rd grade for a talent show, included a verse where the lamb is taken to the butcher by Mary, and it subsequently said that Mary had lamb chops for supper that night. If anyone can tell me where on earth this poem is, I’d be eternally grateful!

This story does parallel Mary the mother of Jesus and the lamb being Jesus. He was sinless (white as snow). He follows her everywhere and Jesus never leaves us. He was not accepted at school and Jesus is also not accepted at school. He was also crucified on a cross and a spear pierced his side. He died for our sins, the sinless son of God.
