In fairness to the commenter, he’s not completely wrong about the Costco part; if googlemaps is to be believed, it is near a Costco, just a little bit to the northeast. The rest of the comment is garbage.

Is this comment a joke? Full disclosure: I’ve been a stock holder in Alaskan Brewing from the very beginning, when Alaskan was still a dream. The problems with this comment: 1. It’s not right next door to Costco. 2. The “neighborhood” it’s in is an industrial area. 3. I’ve been in the brewery multiple times and it’s as clean as a whistle inside and out. 4. Marcy and Geoff are wonderful Juneau citizens, providing funds for nonprofits and partnering with the City and Borough every chance they get. Alaskan is a model business.

It’s not. It’s an eyesore from every angle in the middle of a neighborhood next to a Costco. There is nothing attractive about that business at all…it is just plain industry as dirty as they come.
