It got mangled by a opossum a couple of weeks ago. It was only a couple of month old. I thought I could nurse him back to health but that’s wasn’t going to happen. It could not walk or fly but it kept trying. Very sad to see. He didn’t understand what had happened. After watching him like this for several weeks , I knew what I had to do. So I used a wire to strangle him. He died after a minute but that was cruel. I was scared he would not die . I had heard of chickens running around with their heads cut off. Luckily , that did not happen. It was still a sad thing for me to see even if I did it. I hope I made the right choice. I had never seen a wounded chicken. I think they kill them. So that is why I did it . Probably burn in hell for it.
